Blake Nichols

Today I come to our community of friends with a heavy heart as God has taken one of our angels from us way too early. Blake Nichols, a prized member of our MTR family took his last breath on earth after battling cancer for over two hard fought years.  Blake was not just a prized member of our team, but also the son of our warehouse manager Johnny (15 year veteran of MTR) and his wife Deidre. Blake was a superstar in football, in the community, and in life.  Blake had an unbelievable attitude and a positive influence on all he came in contact with.  He will be missed by us all. There is never a good time to lose a loved one, but the holidays seem to be the most challenging.  As a community we are asking that we all come together in support of this young man’s courageous battle that no matter how many times he was set back he lived life ALWAYS STRONG.
